It’s not been an easy 12 months for the Tampa Bay house music scene.

Last November, it lost Pedro M Muniz, who created the runway for international house music to land in Tampa. And last month it was dealt the unexpected passing of Lyndon Uy, a L8 Night Flights resident who opened the door and always lent an ear for anyone who wanted to dive into the world of house music.

For L8’s fifth anniversary, Uy’s DJ family—including Jason Kitchen, JB Nicotera, Taetro, and Curtis Viscome—will spin in his honor.

Tickets to L8 Night Flights’ 5th Anniversary Party on Friday, July 7 at Floridian Social in St. Petersburg are still available for $20-$30.
