For the last 20 years of his touring days, David Bowie never touched anything from the Jim Henson cult classic that starred him as Jareth the Goblin King.

But this Saturday night show will be a double win for Tampa Bay fans, as it’ll be another, increasingly popular “screen-to-stage” performance of “Labyrinth” with a live band covering the score, synced up to the Starman’s vocals.

Bowie also played Tampa Bay four times in his career, with the last time being in 2004 at the Straz Center’s Morsani Hall (then known as the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center), a far more intimate choice than the stadiums he would usually rock.

Those that couldn’t make the show will probably see shows like this as close as it’s gonna get to the real thing. Dance, magic.

Tickets to see Jim Henson’s Labyrinth: In Concert at Clearwater’s Ruth Eckerd Hall on Saturday, Oct. 26 are still available and start $43.25.
