No, this isn’t the jazz singer Lady A that beared the same name 30 years, but the country trio—which changed its name in the wake of the 2020 Black Lives Matter protests—currently in the midst of a run of shows that contain both hits, and a fistful of audience requests.

Before this tour came to fruition, the band performed a stirring version of “Surfer Girl” at “A Grammy Salute to The Beach Boys,” and singer Charles Kelley struggled with sobriety, but came out strong with a new solo single about his fight, entitled “As Far As You Could.”

Tickets to see Lady A play Duke Energy Center for the Arts at Mahaffey Theater in St. Petersburg on Thursday, June 29 are still available and start at $70.
