On Thursday, June 3, the free monthly show brings Mrenc (stylized “MrENC,” as in Mr. Eric N. Collins) supporting his new, alt-rocking new We Do Our Own Thing EP. The title track in all it’s hazy-indie glory could be the song of the summer, and for me brings back to Pavement’s most upbeat moments. The four-minute cut just has that ‘90s indie-rock sing-along anthem bibe that I’ve never gotten sick of. Also on the lineup is rock n’ rapper–but usually not at the same time–Achilles.
Guitarist and vocalist Zach Short rounds out the lineup of the monthly serie, so get your vaxxed friends and fam, bring a cooler, and get a taste of the free live music we’ve missed.
