While headliner Buddy Guy was definitely missed on day three of the 2023 Clearwater Jazz Holiday, there was no one better to kick off the day’s main stage events than Perrine-bred lap steel guitarist Roosevelt Collier.

The Jelly Roll band member has had a busy few weeks, having released “Somebody,” a new, downtempo song with Eric Gales and Guy, and recuperating from the U.S. leg of a stadium tour featuring the son of a sinner himself and Post Malone.

Collier is taking part in an overseas leg of the tour later this year, but plays the far-more compact microbrewery this weekend with Atlanta funk outfit Adam & The Testifiers.

There is no cover for Roosevelt Collier w/Adam & The Testifiers at Dunedin Brewery on Friday, July 25.
