Latin Grammy-winning DJ Nitti Gritti plays Friday show in Ybor City

Latin Grammy-winning DJ Nitti Gritti dropped “Moshpit” last fall, and it features a guest spot from Shaquille O’Neal (who’s actually headed to WTR in Tampa next month).

The single might have been released too late in the year to have received another Grammy nomination, but if it wasn’t, shame on the Academy.

In the meantime, the DJ is no stranger to Tampa Bay, having lived in Miami for much of his life, so his Friday night Ybor City show—part of the Ritz’s #Pound Fridays series—is a pleasant addition, but no massive surprise. Shaq’s most likely only going to be there in spirit, but you can still go in person.

Tickets to see Nitti Gritti play The Ritz in Ybor City on Friday, Feb. 25 are still available, and as always, the show starts ultra late. But it’s on a Friday, so who gives a shit?
