A dynamic, live concert photograph of punk singer-songwriter Laura Jane Grace performing on stage. Grace is captured from the waist up, singing passionately into a microphone stand with their mouth wide open. They have curly dark hair, heavily tattooed arms, and are wearing a black graphic tank top while playing a sunburst-patterned electric guitar. In the background to the right, a bassist with long dark hair completely obscuring their face is playing a light blue bass guitar. The stage is bathed in deep blue lighting from above, contrasting with a vibrant red curtain partially visible on the left side of the background.

Against Me’s Laura Jane Grace has become a fixture in the Tampa Bay area concert calendar over the last few years, and returns to St. Petersburg with a new-to-her 1965 Gibson Melody Maker to help play songs from a solo discography that reaches back to 2018.

Cello-driven rock duo Lung is on the support slate along with Ian Robinson. The songwriter better known as Black Guy Fawkes is touring behind a 2025 album, The Misery Suite, where he spins a love for grunge a Weezer-ish pop into a punk-rock record that traces Robinson’s first year of therapy.

Tickets to see Laura Jane Grace and Band play Bayboro Brewing in St. Petersburg on Tuesday, May 5 are still available for $35.
