As Creative Loafing Tampa Bay previously pointed out, there are fewer purer, fan-artist connections than the one Laura Jane Grace has with her followers.

Grace will pack 687 Central Ave. where her band Against Me! played some of its most memorable shows when the room was known as State Theatre (Grace describes many of the gigs in her 2016 memoir “Tranny: Confessions Of Punk Rock’s Most Infamous Anarchist Sellout”).

Before the show on Sunday, Grace will be at Bananas Records retail location on 22nd Avenue to sign anything you got, take photos and celebrate with the community from 1 p.m.-3 p.m.

Tickets to see Laura Jane Grace play Floridian Social on Sunday, April 16 are still available for $25. There’s no charge to meet Grace at Banana’s, and more information on the meet-and-greet is available via @BananasRecordsStPetersburg on Facebook.
