After testing the waters in Tampa’s mid-sized arena, Yuengling Center, Lauren Daigle is going all out and staging a spectacle inside the city’s second largest venue.

The two-time Grammy-winner has a record that can more than fill the space, too. The 32-year-old’s new eponymous is her fourth studio effort and features 23 tracks that showcase her ability to make pop that crosses over between the Christian music audience that’s followed Daigle since the beginning, and new ears drawn the hooks and melodies produced with help from fellow golden gramophone keeper Mike Elizondo.

Before the show, Daigle will also take the stage to present a $1,000 grant to the Gasparilla Music Foundation’s (GMF) Recycled Tunes program, which works year-round to refurbish musical instruments before placing them in the hands of underserved Tampa school kids.

The Grant comes from Daigle’s foundation, Price Fund, which serves children, and the elderly, through its mission “to instill hope and love among all people, no matter their background.”

“The Price Fund regularly tries to better music education programs across the country; working The Community Foundation of Middle TN & local venues to identify top music programs in all of our tour markets,” a rep for GMF told Creative Loafing Tampa Bay.
