Australian Pentecostal megachurch Hillsong is known the world over for coordinating massive, expertly orchestrated Sunday service that can inspire even the deepest of sinners (Justin Bieber was freaking baptized in NBA player Tyson Chandler’s New York City bathtub by Hillsong pastor Carl Lentz for crissake!) to become believers of Christ who accept their own imperfections in the quest for salvation and grace. Hillsong’s Outcry Tour will arrive to showcase a kind of aesthetic that touches fans whether they’re in a high school classroom for bible study or a 20,000 seat shed built by Live Nation. Music has always been a kind of sanctuary no matter who or what you worship (have you been to a set by Ghost B.C.?) and this big summer show is a testament to that.
