Long Island hardcore band Backtrack is calling it quits after more than a decade together, and it’s saying goodbye to East Coast and Midwest fans on a summer tour whose only Florida date happens in Tampa.

We’d say that there’ll be hugs at this farewell, but you’re probably more likely to get knocked down in the pit when the band — along with California-based Dead Heat, New York’s Rule Them All and two Florida bands, Day By Day and Tampa’s own Point of Contact — takes over the Brass Mug.

Backtrack w/Dead Heat/Rule Them All/Day By Day/Point of Contact. Tues., June 18, 7 p.m.. $13-$15. Brass Mug, Tampa. Elevatedbooking.bigcartel.com.
