Lyft is giving 50 cents from each ride to and from Sunset Music Festival (SMF) to charity.

Today, the rideshare service announced that 50 cents from each trip will be donated to To Write Love On Her Arms, which is a nonprofit working to support for those struggling with depression, addiction, self-injury, and suicide.

A press release says that Lyft will also have staff on-site to help its drivers and riders connect at the festival happening on May 25-26. The rideshare service will also provide free water to festival attendees.

Lyft is in local headlines today after a Tampa pop artist said that the rideshare service charged him $100 for puking. The artist denies it, but he is encouraging others to film their rides to prevent potential “vomit fraud.”
