Mac Miller, who was supposed to play Orlando on November 16, has died at age 26 (via SPIN).
Initial reports say that the Pittsburgh native — who just released a new album, Swimming, on August 3 — died of an apparent overdose. Shortly after the release of the album, Miller, whom CL last saw in town during a 2015 show at The Ritz in Ybor City, was charged with DUI following a May crash in California.
After the crash, Miller's ex-girlfriend, Ariana Grande, posted a statement about their former relationship, writing that she had “cared for him and tried to support his sobriety.”
TMZ said that law enforcement sources told the gossip site that Miller was found Friday at around noon at his San Fernando Valley home and was pronounced dead at the scene.
