Mae once played two gigs at St. Peteโs Jannus Live in 2007, but the Virginia emo-rock band hasnโt been back. Since those gigs, Mae has established its own, since-defunct record label, taken a three-year hiatus, and even reunited for a 10th anniversary gig with ex-member Jake Clemons, who now fills his uncle Clarenceโs gigantic shoes on saxophone in Bruce Springsteenโs E Street Band.
Thereโs no new music being promoted this time around, but knowing how many side projects have spawned from past and current members, itโs only a matter of time before something fresh emerges.
