Marc Broussard is only 37 years old, but the husky-voiced New Orleans singer-songwriter finds himself headlining a free-to-attend AARP party on Friday at The Ritz Ybor City.

The show, naturally, starts early (7 p.m.) and will also be a battle of the bands featuring three local acts. Broussard, who was just in town for a Capitol Theatre gig four months ago, will make the most of it, however, and probably share lots of material from a forthcoming live album that is due early next month.
