Yes, it’s going to be fun seeing Irish singer-songwriter and ex-One Direction-er Niall Horan in Tampa, but we’re admittedly more excited about an opening set by 28-year-old Maren Morris. After three full-length releases on smaller labels, Morris finally caught the attention of the industry with 2016’s My Hero. That album earned the Nashville songwriter four Grammy nominations, and one of its singles — “My Church” — took home a golden gramophone for “Best Country Solo Performance.” With songwriting credits for artists like Tim McGraw, Kelly Clarkson and Brothers Osborne, Morris might still be able to make a great living flying underneath the radar, but we’d love to see her headlining this amphitheatre one day.
