There’s already one harpist set to play St. Petersburg on Saturday (Seth Lynn, who plays the instrument for Garden Club, which is playing Paper Crane’s Mother Freaker show), but Morikeba Kouyate will be nearby at the Body Electric Yoga and showing off the prowess that has made him of of the great masters of the kora, a 16th century, 21-string harp that originated in the Mandinka culture of West Africa.

Kora was normally reserved for Mandinka royalty, but you can treat yourself with this early show (8 p.m.) and still make it to Paper Crane to see Garden Club along with Pleasures, FayRoy and other CL favorites.

Morikeba Kouyate. Sat., May 10. 8 p.m.. $10. Body Electric Yoga Company, St. Petersburg. thebodyelectricyoga.com.
