There’s no shortage of Jimmy Buffett tributes, but very few of the outings after the late trop-rock pioneers death actually have connections to the legend himself.
Coral Reefer vocalists Nadirah Shakoor and Tina Gullickson (pictured above playing Amalie Arena in December 2021) are on the bill for this one along with Doyle Grisham, whose pedal steel was first heard by Parrotheads on Buffet’s “A White Sport Coat and a Pink Crustacean” (aka the “why don’t we get drunk and screw” song).
St. Pete resident and “Coral Reefer #001” Roger Bartlett rounds things out along with John Frinzi who collaborates with Grisham.
