Tampa Bay might want to gear up for a true Wu-Tang Wednesday on Sept. 21, which kicks off when GZA heads to Dunedin to play chess (yes, you read that right) with fans at The Moontower before jetting off to play a big show at Tampa’s old Gary amphitheater 30 miles away (how he plans to get around traffic is another mystery of chessboxin’).

While Method Man isn’t on the tour this time thanks to a scheduling conflict with a movie taping, Wu-Tang Clan’s Tampa gig at MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre includes legendary Queens rapper Nas, who is more than a consolation prize.

Don’t be surprised if members of the Clan show up somewhere for an after party either.
