Mexican-born “mariacheño” artist Christian Nodal plays a cross between mariachi and norteño styles and has had a pretty remarkable 2023.

While on the heels of a new EP, Forajido 2—described by Nodal as a sextet of songs about “love, heartbreak, spite and illusion”— his partner Cazzu—an Argentine musician—gave birth to a baby girl last month.

Tickets to see Christian Nodal play Tampa’s Amalie Arena on Friday, Oct. 6 are still available and start at $61.
