A Miami DJ with no relation to Thundercat steps in for a Sunday session at iconic Tampa nightclub Hyde Park Cafe. Resident DJ at Miami’s Club Space, the Bogota-born Thunderpony brings his house stylings to the Platt Street venue for an early show (checkout “Thundercast #5” with samples of Michael Jackson’s “Don’t Stop ‘Til You Get Enough”).
As far as COVID-19 protocols go, there is a mask requirement and it’s a “limited-capacity open air event.” Tampa’s Rob Bello opens the show with a pre and post party happening across the street at The Treehouse. And yes, there will be $20 bottomless mimosas.
