Jump for joy and crack open an Ol’ Grape, Tampa Bay, M.C. Taylor is coming to town.

Today, the North Carolina songwriter and leader of Hiss Golden Messenger announced another round of tour dates, including one in Ybor City this spring.

Tickets to see Hiss Golden Messenger play Crowbar in Tampa on Monday, Feb. 26 are available now via fan presale and start at $27.88.

Los Angeles rock band Color Green opens all shows on the February run, which includes four other Florida stops—Tallahassee, Orlando, Jacksonville and Miami—ahead of Hiss Golden Messenger’s stint on the Camayo Cruise.

Taylor is on the road supporting Hiss Golden Messenger’s 15th studio album. Jump For Joy finds the poignant-yet-sometimes-cynical songwriter channeling unabashed optimism into a somewhat autobiographical album about the life of a musician named Michael Crow.

In his newsletter announcing the show, Taylor—who played Tampa in 2017 opening for Mumford & Sons, plus 2015 at Gasparilla Music Festival—wrote the he doesn’t know when Hiss Golden Messenger will be back this way again.
