Tampa death metal band Morbid Angel returns home to a highly anticipated show at The Orpheum this Friday, with support from Swedish metal band Watain and NYC-based death metal act Incantation. Morbid Angel was formed in 1983 by guitarist and sole remaining original member Trey Azagthoth, but the metal act is still making its rounds across the country, playing old fan-favorites as well as newer songs off of its latest album Kingdoms Disdained, which was released two years ago.

Morbid Angel, Watain, Incantation. Fri. Dec., 20. 7 p.m. $25. The Orpheum, 1915 E 7th Ave. eventbrite.com
