The Lemonheads, It's a Shame About Ray (1992)

A friend turned me on to the recent re-issue of this and now I can't stop listening to it. It's 1992 all over again. Has a better pop/rock album ever been made? "She's the puzzle piece behind the couch that makes the sky complete." Come on. Feel the Lemonheads at Evan Dando's best!

Infinite SkillzSkillz, The World Needs More Skillz (2010)

Taylor Brian Eno, Small Craft on a Milk Sea (2010)

This album is incredible. Brian Eno may have contributed to the invention of ambient music, but this collection of new material is anything but. Eeriness seeps in, emotions stir, asymetrical drums pound in my ears, and chaos ensues. Listening to it, I thought this stuff would be a terrific score for a thriller, so I was unsurprised to find out that some of these tracks were rejected from the film, The Lovely Bones. If you're looking for something to just have on in the background while you do your homework, this isn't it. This is an Enoxperience. Check out this man's mind:
