Ernie Locke is one of the most exciting frontmen in recent Bay area music history, and you’re not delirious from all those drinks at The Hub. Locke is back in town, and he’s getting the band (Nervous Turkey) back together for a Saturday night bender. “The deep greasy growls, gut bellows and clambering presence of CL’s 2009 Best Frontman winner are still as huge as ever,” former CL music editor Leilani Polk wrote in recent issue of CL’s Best of the Bay, “even if Ernie himself has shed some noticeable pounds.”

UPDATE: Nervous Turkey will now play an additional, two-set, show at Ella’s Americana Folk Art Cafe on August 5.
