Ella Fitzgerald, Twelve Nights In Hollywood (Verve)
For this two-disc collection, Verve Select mined the vault to find the best of Ella Fitzgerad’s performances across her 1961 10-night engagement at Los Angeles’ Crescendo Club — which originally resulted in Ella In Hollywood – and her two-night return engagement the following year, with nary a single repeat performance from the original album.
