Emo Night Tampa’s November episode happens on Saturday in Ybor City, but organizers are crossing the bridge to throw a free, Tuesday evening show at The Bends where New York indie-rock band Nervous Dater brings a catalog that tackles tough-for-boomers subjects (politics, gender-identity) without being heavy-handed. Nicolle Maroulis brings one of Montclair, New Jersey’s best emo-pop bands (no, not now-cringey outfit Pinegrove, but Hit Like A Girl) to open the show where local support comes from Planet Loser.
