If you haven’t heard of the hip-shaking rhythms of up-and-coming Nigerian musician Patoranking—now’s the time to become a superfan, because his tour is making a stop at Ybor City’s Orpheum on April 14.

His latest LP Wilmer dropped last spring, and the setlist will no doubt feature leading singles off of the highly-acclaimed album, like “Confirm (feat. Davido)” and “Open Fire (feat. Busiswa.) This upcoming  tour, featuring fellow reggae artist Tessellated as the opener, spans from both coasts of the U.S., and even features a few Canada dates.

The 24 year-old musician recently teamed up with African Leadership University to form the Patoranking Scholarship—which will send 10 young scholars to college.

Tickets for Patoranking’s Tampa show go on sale tomorrow, Feb. 7 at 10 a.m. via ticketmaster.com. And if you live in St. Pete, you can grab them at Daddy Kool Records anytime before the show.
