Nine Inch Nails fans with a wish to see the band return to Tampa Bay might be in luck.

Overnight, Trent Reznor’s pioneering industrial rock outfit confirmed plans to tour the globe this year, but wrote that an announcement is postponed as California gets back on its feet in the midst of unprecedented wildfires.

But leaks suggest that the alleged “Peel It Back World Tour” will stop at Tampa’s Amalie Arena on Wednesday, Sept. 10.

If the rumor pans out, it would be Nine Inch Nails’ first show in the Tampa Bay area since a stop at MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre in 2014.

The run marks the band’s first show since 2022 when classic members of the band returned for a one-off.

Other leaked dates include Aug. 23 in Canada, and another in Cleveland a week later.
