Tampa Bay’s local Broadway seasons have come to an end for the summer, so if a trip to Manhattan just isn’t in the cards right now, St. Pete’s Bayboro Brewing is kicking off the weekend with a two-and-a-half-hour Broadway rave (from the same folks who brought you Emo Night Brooklyn).

It appears that “Hamilton” will have a strong presence (naturally), and considering the “Wicked” movie trailers making waves, hopefully a few cuts from the Stephen Schwartz musical will pop in as well.

And, is it unreasonable to hope for a preview of the upcoming cast recording of “The Outsiders,” which won Best Musical at the Tony Awards a few weekends ago?

Tickets to the Broadway Rave happening Friday, June 28 at Bayboro Brewing in St. Petersburg are still available for $17. Subscribe to Creative Loafing newsletters.
