There’s a pretty good chance that if not for Meet Me @ The Altar and Hot Mulligan joining the bill, Heart Attack Man would have been in town supporting Chicago rock band Knuckle Puck at Orpheum this weekend.

That tour was announced in December 2019, slated for spring 2020 before the world fell apart, so now Heart Attack Man—the band that controversially gave us “Notes App Apology”—has pieced together its own tour, which drops into Ybor City’s Crowbar on Sunday.

There’s no Knuckle Puck on the bill; instead, we get Tom Freeman’s emo folk-rock project Covey, Canadian skate-punk band Arm’s Length, and Nashville indie project BloodRoot.
