Singer-songwriter Janis Ian is ready to call it a day.

After over 50 years of making albums, as well as writing columns for The Advocate, the LGBT icon is heading out on the road for her final “Celebrating Our Years Together” tour.

In January, Ian put out her final album, “The Light At The End Of The Line,” featuring guest spots from Vince Gill and Viktor Krauss—so it’s only natural for the tour to be the end of the musical road for her as well.
Ian does plan to write more books, though, so at least she’s not disappearing into the dark.
