Some critics have called GlokkNine the next Kodak Black (Mr. Black is Florida’s most popular Spotify artist, according to a recent study). The Orlando mumble-rapper has even inspired taste-making magazine The FADER to walk back its initial assessment of him (“I sort of wrote off GlokkNine at first as a Kodak imitator but it’s become clear that he’s much more,” Ben Dandridge-Lemco admitted in his June “10 Best New Rap Songs” post).
