Pale Gold’s 2018 album, High Strung, fits neatly into the pop-punk/emo category, but that era of the Tampa band is a bit of old news now.

A trio of 2024 singles finds Pale Gold much louder and doing a whole lot more shoegazing as the band unfurls sprawling walls of loud guitars.

It headlines this one featuring sets by Sarasota punk outfit Floating Boy and South Florida emo band Last Disaster.

Tickets to see Pale Gold play The Nest at St. Pete Brewing Co. in St. Petersburg on Sunday, Feb. 23 are $10.
