Palomino Blond—a self-identified shred-gaze band whose name is inspired by a species of tarantula—played its first Tampa gig as part of the May 2019 lineup for the girl-powered indie-rock extravaganza Babefest. Since then, the Miami rock group has played our neck of the woods a few more times—and it returns with Friday's headlining affair.

Psych-rock outfit House of I and Jasmine Deja-fronted band Fake Nudes—which dropped its first single “Butterfly” on streaming platforms earlier this month—open the show.
