Not that anyone thought that Pedro The Lion was preparing to break up yet again, but the surprise release of the Seattle-based indie outfit’s “Havasu” last winter was much needed after listening to Phoenix—the band’s 2019 comeback album—on repeat during two years of a pandemic.
But the band’s current run of shows doesn’t focus on what’s new, and only sees it run through cover-to-cover performances of both its 1998 debut album “It’s Hard to Find a Friend” and 2002’s Control.
