I had the pleasure of spending this past Halloween weekend in Indio, California, at Festival 8, a three-day Phish fest where they played, among many other things, the Rolling Stones' Exile on Main Street in its entirety as their "costume" on Halloween. (Read more about that trip here and here.) Now, the band is gearing up to release Phish 3D, a concert documentary featuring highlights from the fest in 3D vision. While no Florida cities were among the nine that will offer advance screenings on April 20, numerous other theaters across the nation will present the film on its actual release date, April 30, and hopefully some Bay area locations will be included. Stay tuned to find out when Phish 3D hits a theater near you.
Check out the complete press release as well as a trailer for the film after the jump.
