Tuesday night’s Bane show at Local 662 in St. Pete was a healthy dose of frenzied chaos in the best way possible.   Facing heaps of sweat-glistened skin frantically piling and vying for a second of mic time by the hand of frontman Aaron Bedard, Bane played their brand of life-affirming hardcore punk with the conviction and sincerity of a band far younger, and far pissier than one would initially expect.   “Speed it up?  Speed it up?”  Bedard remarked after their first song.  “The only way you can tell me to speed it up is if you’re wearing a denim jacket with a Crass patch on it.  Get the fuck outta here.”  They tore through about 12 songs, seemingly delving farther into awesome, raging insanity with each track before departing for the night.  They don’t come to Florida much, but if you’re down for a sweat-soaked baptism in hardcore, Bane’s probably got you covered.
