It may have been the August humidity, but the sight of his band’s signature yellow coverall suits enraged Mark Mothersbaugh to the point where he literally started ripping pieces of the outfits off his Devo bandmates. During its quick Thursday night set in downtown Clearwater, the Ohio band, which he still shares with his brother Bob and fellow co-founder Gerald Casale, also threw red dome hats into the pit, and even brought out Booji Boy (if you know, you know), who used set closer “Beautiful World” as an opportunity to salute the recently-fallen Dolly Parton by theorizing that she would have heavily related to most of the song’s lyrics.
