Turnpike rock hit The Bends on Saturday when long-running Jersey pop-punk band the Parasites played a set for fans in St. Petersburg, Florida.

The band has toured with a who’s who of punk rock royalty (including Green Day, NOFX, Rancid and The Queers), and brought their latest — 2015’s Rock You Like A Funnel Cake — to the tiny Sunshine City dive.

Brian Mahar was there and has these photos to share.
