Kenny Loggins kicked off his final concert tour, “This is It” last Friday night, March 10, at Sarasota’s Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall. Loggins is ending his touring days with a cross-country tour and his only other Florida stop in Jacksonville. Other cities include New Orleans, Chicago, and Los Angeles. “It’s been a long journey since starting with Jimmy Messina in 1971, and I’m fortunate to have had such a long touring career,” Loggins says. “I don’t see this as the end of my professional career, but certainly a halt to the grind of major touring.”
