A photo by Yvonne Gougelet showing English folk-rock band Mumford & Sons performing live on stage at Benchmark International Arena in Tampa, Florida, on August 7, 2026. Captured in a wide low-angle shot, lead singer Marcus Mumford stands center-stage singing and playing an acoustic guitar in a dark blue shirt, flanked by band members playing upright bass, keyboards, and additional guitars. A kick drum emblazoned with "Prizefighter" sits at center stage under orange spotlights, positioned beneath a massive illuminated circular light fixture and backdrop wall under moody concert lighting.

This month, nearly 17 years to the date since its release, Mumford & Sons’ breakout single “Little Lion Man” surpassed 1 billion streams on Spotify. The news comes just on the heels of the band’s return to Tampa last Friday for the band’s first show in the area in nearly a decade (and the first appearance from its frontman, Marcus Mumford, who played the two-and-out Innings Festival in 2023). Supporting its sixth studio album, Prizefighter, the band was supported at Benchmark International Arena by Nick Carpenter’s country-pop project Medium Build.
