Peter Hook & The Light capped off their Jannus Live setlist with “Love Will Tear Us Apart,” but it was a love of keeping 70s and 80s post-punk alive that brought the multi-generational crowd together last Wednesday.
The band, formed in 2010 by the English bassist and vocalist of Joy Division and New Order, played originals for the first half of its St. Pete set.
After a brief intermission and tribute to the memory of Ian Curtis, the band played Joy Division and New Order hits including “Blue Monday,” “Atmosphere,” and “Isolation.”
