John Lambโon the cusp of his 90th birthdayโhas a million stories to tell about his time slapping the bass for Duke Ellington throughout the flip side of the 1960s and into the โ70s. He calls St. Petersburg home and has even taught music at St. Petersburg College. Mark Moultrupโa pianist who previously lived in Chicago and Detroitโalso resides in St. Pete, and has performed with the likes of Smokey Robinson and Eddie Kendricks.
His collaboration with Lamb, entitled Stories, began production in 2017, but due to COVID-19, it was put on hold, but finally released this summer.
