
Yes — the lineup featuring Jon Anderson, Trevor Rabin, Rick Wakeman to be exact — circled back to Clearwater's Ruth Eckerd Hall a year after kicking off a world tour in the very same room.
In his review, CL contributor Gabe Echazabal described part of the set like this:
Diehards were thrown a massive bone with the awesome, extended treatment 1977’s “Awaken” (from the Going For The One album) was given. The twenty-minute rendition spiraled and sailed and flawlessly ran the gamut from balladry to ethereal pop to rock and roll and — and it took the whole audience along with it for the twisting, turning ride.
Closing with the its biggest ever hit single, the dance/new wave classic “Owner Of a Lonely Heart,” the band seemed overjoyed and elated as it bashed out a crunchy, infectious version of the song and managed to throw in a verse from Cream’s blues rock classic “Sunshine Of Your Love” along the way.
