Emo Night Tampa organizers weren’t going to stage this Saturday rock show in Ybor City if Ian wreaked havoc on the city, but alas, we dodged a bullet. Still, organizers—no strangers to mutual aid—will donate a portion of merch sales to a mutual aid organization helping with disaster release efforts.

What’s more is that Saturday’s Emo Night Tampa food vendor, 2022 Best of the Bay winner Lucky Tigre, is donating all profits (after employee and food costs) to mutual aid disaster relief, too.

Out-of-towners Folktale San Pedro and 0 Miles Per Hour, plus hometown hero Brother Cephus and rising star Sportsmode—will play the music for a show. that could feel like a release valve. As usual, it’s no cover, which is good since you blew your paycheck on hurricane snacks.
