Amid the latest rising tide of local rock acts coming out of Tampa Bay is Radarmen?, made up musicians with proven pedigree (former and current players of Signals from Satellites, Brahm Bones and Electric Geese, guitarist/singer Rodney Smith and bassist/singer David Kibby, joined by drummer Adam Revak). The trio has been making waves with darkly-hued, reverbed experimental rock and discordant post-punk that's finally given the studio treatment and pressed to a full-length debut, Echoes in Sound. This Friday, the trio celebrates its release with support sets from raucous locals Flat Stanley and Plan to Fail. (Fri., May 22, 9 p.m., New World Brewery, Ybor City, $5.)
