Embattled Yonkers rapper DMX is on the road celebrating the 20th anniversary of his landmark album It’s Dark and Hell Is Hot, but he spent the hours after his Tampa show at The Ritz kicking ass on some Ybor City pool tables.
Contributing CL photographer Michael Johnson was at beloved Ybor City dive Reservoir Bar, where he apparently got beat by the 48-year-old MC.
“Kind of mad that DMX just beat me at pool,” Johnson wrote on his Facebook page. Bay area radio personality and hip-hop scene cornerstone DJ Sandman also posted to social media, saying that, “X said he’s beating everyone on the pool table…”
The best part about it? DMX wearing his own concert tour T-shirt. Watch some video below.
