An everlasting kind of love is at the heart of a new video from Puerto Rican and Cuban songwriter Sabrina Claudio.

“I wanted to make sure that showing violence was not a factor within the visual as violence, conceptually, isn’t what the song is about,” she said in a release detailing a new video for “Holding The Gun.”

“The blood & insinuation of crime represents the lengths one would go when so deeply in love.”

On October 27, Claudio brings her biggest headlining tour to date to Tampa where she plays The Ritz Ybor City. The concert is one of three Florida stops including Fort Lauderdale (October 25 at Revolution) and Orlando (October 26 at Beacham Theater). Tickets for the Tampa show are on sale now and start at $27.

Claudio’s rise started when a 2016 EP garnered 3 million plays on Soundcloud before being eventually released commercially (it peaked at no. 3 on the iTunes R&B charts behind Khalid and The Weeknd). Claudio’s 12-track, full-length debut, About Time, also climbed charts and led to her late-night television debut on The Late Late Show with James Corden.

More information on the show is available via ticketmaster.com.
