Vinoy Park just played host to a three-day reggae-rock orgy (aka Reggae Rise Up), but the St. Petersburg greenspace is already thinking about getting irie again.
California-based quartet Rebelution has announced its “Good Vibes” summer tour, which stops at Vinoy Park on August 18. Reggaeton weedhead Collie Budz — who is headlining Jannus Live on March 29 — will open the show alongside actual Jamaican Protoje. DJ Mackle will be on hand for extra vibes.
The tour’s other Florida stops include two shows in St. Augustine (August 14 & 15 at The Amp) and Cocoa (August 16 at Riverfront Park). The concert is Rebelution’s first show in the area since the band played Reggae Rise Up 2018 and finds the group returning to the Bay area where it brewed a signature beer with Ybor City’s Rock Brothers Brewing.
Tickets for the show go on sale Friday, March 22 at 10 a.m. EDT and will cost fans $35-$40. Tickets are available in-store at Daddy Kool Records or online via daddykool.com.
